"Heimat ist ein Gefühl"

Home can be everywhere and nowhere. It means something different for everyone. Is it a person, a fleeting encounter, a place or something entirely different? We all search for the familiarity of home but it is something that is not easily attainable.
The photographs were taken at the place of my childhood. When I'm there I feel like a time machine has taken me back into the past and at the same time I see that time has not stopped. It's my memories that make these places so special. I am located in somewhere between then, now and tomorrow.
